Harriet Street Seniors Housing Inc. is a non-profit, affordable housing unit for independent seniors. The building is located near downtown Winnipeg close to shopping, public transit, churches and healthcare services.
Harriet Street Senior Housing will provide support to low income seniors in Winnipeg with affordable housing so that they can have lives of dignity, independence, and happiness. Seniors in the city come from many ethnic backgrounds including newcomers, longer term residents and Indigenous community members.
Our Location
Harriet Street Seniors Housing Inc. is building an apartment unit on vacant land at 55 Harriet Street located across the street from the Part Source store. This land has been empty for many years and has been a detriment to the area because of its vacancy. We expect to complete construction of the building by July 2025.
Canada Revenue Agency Designation: Harriet Street Seniors Housing Inc. is registered under CRA Canada as low-cost housing corporation for the aged. We can issue official donation receipts for gifts.
